Rum Vault Opens At Four Seasons Koh Samui

According to the Wine and Spirit Trade Association, we Brits are spending almost £1bn per year on rum. Some are even predicting that, while 2017 was the year of gin, 2018 will be the year that rum becomes the glamorous go-to tipple.

With that in mind, it might be time for a trip to Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui in Thailand, where they have just launched Asia’s first Rum Vault – an extensive library of rums from across the world.

As the latest addition to the resort’s dedicated CoCo Rum Bar, the Rum Vault will offer rum connoisseurs an extensive collection of variations and flavours within an intimate space.

Upon entering the Vault via a prison door, you will find walls adorned with a stellar collection of caged cane spirits and a tasting table as a centrepiece. The vault features over 100 rums, including an ever-growing list of rums exclusive to Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui.

The Vault also offers cocktail making lessons at the bar for guests who would like to experiment with rum-based cocktails.

To coincide with its launch, the Rum Vault has launched an exclusive Rum Club where rum aficionados can contribute a bottle of rum to the Vault’s wishlist. In return, guests enjoy a private dining experience on the beach with access to the Rum Vault all year round.

Along with the finest collection of rum in the continent, you can expect a laid-back vibe and unparalleled service.
